Courtney Campbell Causeway Pedestrian Trail Bridge Closing Temporarily
Tampa Bay – Beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, May 6, the Courtney Campbell Causeway pedestrian trail bridge will close to all users for approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
Drivers traveling on SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) should not be impacted during this around-the-clock closure.
Advanced warning signs have been installed on each side of the pedestrian bridge to alert the public of the planned closure.
The Florida Department of Transportation is performing bridge maintenance activities on the SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) Pedestrian Trail Bridge over Old Tampa Bay.

Courtney Campbell Causeway North Access Road Closing through End of May
Tampa, FL – Beginning Monday, April 15, the westbound Courtney Campbell Causeway North Access Road located just west of the Boat Ramp will close to motorists and pedestrians through the end of May, weather permitting.
Motorists traveling along SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) should not experience impacts by this bridge maintenance project.
The Florida Department of Transportation's contractor, Engineer Control Systems Corporation, is performing bridge maintenance activities at the ends of each access road under the SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) Bridge in Hillsborough County. This project is expected to finish during the summer of 2024.
