St. Petersburg, FL – On Thursday, July 11, and Sunday, July 14, the northbound I-275 entrance ramp from 28th Street South will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. weather permitting.

During these temporary nighttime ramp closures, motorists will continue north on 28th Street South, turn east onto 5th Avenue North, and enter the interstate using the northbound I-275 entrance ramp.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays and congestion during this detour.

These closures are part of the I-275 concrete pavement repair project from 54th Avenue South to 5th Avenue South in Pinellas County. Construction activities are expected to finish in early 2026.
