The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting for proposed median modifications on SR 60 near SR 39 in Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida.

The public meeting will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the FDOT District Seven Headquarters - 11201 N. McKinley Drive, in Tampa.

As part of this repaving project on SR 60 from west of SR 39 to west of Clarence Gordon Jr. Road, FDOT is proposing two median opening closures to the east and one median opening closure to the west of SR 39. The closures would improve safety and bring the road up to current access design standards along the corridor. The repaving project will replace the existing asphalt road with concrete.

This project is currently in the design phase. Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2025.
